Two common arguments that critics use to attack the Christian faith are: Why doesn't God save everyone? And why does God allow evil? But these two lines of attack, as usually presented, are mutually contradictory. And the book of Genesis has solid answers for both. This Sunday, in the fifth part of our sermon series, “What Do We Believe?” we will consider the implications of the global flood of Noah’s time. Some may be surprised to learn just how powerfully the Genesis flood account shows not only that God takes evil seriously, but that God is serious about salvation. There’s more to the Genesis Flood than meets the eye.
